The ToP Network is seeking nominations for Officers and up to five (5) new members at large. The openings will be filled by membership election by membership election during the Annual Gathering in Omaha, January 7, 2018. All elected will serve a minimum of one-year term.
We are eager to have a strong slate of candidates who represent the field of ToP facilitation and training, with age, gender, geographic, and ethnic diversity from the membership of the ToP Network.
Qualifications
Candidates should be able to make the time commitment and possess the strategic leadership capabilities and business acumen to contribute to the work of the Board and the ToP Network. They must be committed to carry out our mission and strategic goals.
Specifically, we are looking for people who:

Wish to contribute time and talent to the organization in a significant way
-
Have knowledge and competency in ToP Facilitation
-
Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborative abilities
-
Balance a strategic mindset with an action orientation
-
Are committed to fiscal accountability and financial management, including budget oversight
-
Have prior management or board experience (desirable, but not necessary)
Executive Team and responsibilities:
-
Incudes Chair, Co-Chair or Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary
-
Meets as necessary as an executive team, in addition to a monthly Board Meeting
-
Functions as organizational leadership team between the Board meetings
-
Has authority to make operational decisions that are not policy related between board meetings
All Board Member responsibilities include:

Attend Board meetings virtually once a month (up to 2 hrs per meeting)

Attend Annual Conference and other events as needed.

Serve as a liaison to at least one committee, participating in the committee meetings and activities when possible.

Carry out a variety of tasks and make contributions between Board meetings to support Board activities and the work of the Executive Leadership Team.

To hold a Board position you must be a member of the ToP Network.
The Nomination Process is as follows:

The Nominating Team invites you, all ToP Network members, to review the ToP Network mission, vision, and values, as well as strategic goals and recent activities at www.top-network.org

Consider nominating yourself or someone else to lead the ToP Network in 2018. It is all of our responsibility to ensure sustainability and professionalism of our organization.

Talk with any or all of the Nominating Team members or current Board Members to learn more about the roles and expectations.

Submit a statement of interest, including your qualifications, position desired, and a photo to Jen Schanen by November 17, 2017.
